"NEW YORKERS OF THE WEEK"

In July 2001 Loving Touch was featured on NY1 as "New Yorkers of the Week".  We met in the South Bronx very early in the morning. Our goal was to rescue a young Beagle that had been seen walking the street and searching for food for several weeks. It took us some time to locate the Beagle but sure enough we finally did see her walking all alone down a busy street. She was tired and hungry but still very leery of us. The family that had been feeding this stray dog was happy to help us catch her. Once we had a leash around her neck she was all smiles, she knew she was in good hands and was happy to come back to Queens with us. Princess was a loveable dog, so sweet and gentle and very happy to be off the street. Princess spent many weeks in boarding until we found the perfect home for her, with a look-a-like Beagle companion. Princess moved to Manhattan with her new mom and brother.
